Additionally layering fibers in specific orientations achieves zone-specific performance requirements like impact toughness stiffness and tire retention Wide hookless bead deign greatly reduces the likelihood of pinch-flatting by providing a blunt surface upon which to bottom out the tire dissipating energy across a larger surface area and preventing tire damage Innerdrive mechanism features oversized 42mm steel ratchets positioned inboard and over the bearings reducing stress on the axle and bearings while ensuring positive and reliable engagement Interchangeable ratchets (sold separately) allow riders to easily tune their rides for their personal performance needs.
